| Veteran Burial & Headstone Benefit |
Flathead County offers a burial and headstone allowance for a qualifying resident veteran — up to $500 toward burial and up to $100 toward a headstone. Submit the claim form, the veteran's death certificate, proof of service (DD214), and a paid funeral receipt to the Clerk & Recorder's office. |

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office provides court-ordered DNA testing on FRIDAYS ONLY from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is not for the purpose of determining paternity. There is a $10.00 fee, payable by cash or local check. Photo I.D. is required, as is payment at the time of service. |
