AUTHORIZATION TO PUBLISH
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
FOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
The Flathead County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals to engage the services of an individual or firm to serve as the Flathead County Public Safety Facility project Geotechnical Engineer. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for preconstruction review and coordination, ground improvement observation and verification, earthwork observation and testing, foundation and slab support services, concrete and asphalt testing, and special inspections and testing as required. Project construction is scheduled to begin in June of 2026, with a 30-month timeline. Flathead County intends to select a Geotechnical Engineer to conduct third-party testing on behalf of Flathead County for the duration of the project construction. The project is located at 225 Snowline Lane, Kalispell, MT 59901.
