Flathead County no longer processes LLC title paperwork. You must go through MVD Express to process any transactions.

Registration Renewals
A black drop box is available to the right of the Information Window, the first window inside the building, for registration renewals to be processed and returned to you via USPS.
*Renewals mailed in without $1.00 postage WILL NOT be mailed out. They will be renewed and filed at the Information Window for customers to pick up.
Online services include
Registration renewals, replacement decals, replacement titles, replacement plates, and registration reprints can all be requested online.
Vehicle mailing address changes can also be completed online, so long as you have a Montana issued ID.
Title Paper Work
Title paperwork can be processed through the mail.
Title paperwork can be dropped in the black drop box to the right of the Information Window. Please include the below contact information on a piece of paper or sticky note.
- Your Name
- Email Address (optional)
- Contact Phone Number (in case we need to contact you)
- Your "Plate Style" choice and *Form of Payment: Check or Credit Card

- CURRENT MONTANA DRIVER'S LICENSE OR STATE ISSUED ID
- OWN PROPERTY IN FLATHEAD COUNTY (PER MONTANA LAW YOU MUST TITLE THE VEHICLE UNDER THE SAME NAME YOUR PROPERTY IS UNDER)
OR TWO DIFFERENT OF THE FOLLOWING:
- CURRENT UTILITY BILL IN CUSTOMERS NAME & LOCAL ADDRESS
- CURRENT PAYSTUB SHOWING CUSTOMERS NAME & LOCAL ADDRESS
- CURRENT SOCIAL SECURITY OR RETIREMENT CHECK SHOWING CUSTOMERS NAME & LOCAL ADDRESS
- CURRENT CREDIT CARD STATEMENT IN CUSTOMERS NAME & LOCAL ADDRESS
