Mission statement
The Plat Room and Surveyor's Office is the official source of land ownership and survey records for Flathead County, and can provide information about Montana survey laws. We maintain current, accurate records to support proper taxation, and we update owner mailing addresses for tax purposes.
Before recording any document at the Clerk and Recorder's Office, verify that its legal description is correct. Property records are public and available to anyone, and various area and district maps are available for a fee.
