Search records online
Recorded documents are held in two databases, split by the year they were recorded. Both require an account and charge access fees — see each site for current pricing.
iDocMarket (opens in a new tab)
Documents recorded in 1984 or later.
County Record Archives (opens in a new tab)
Documents recorded before 1984.
Request records in person or by mail
You can research and request records in person at our Public Research Library, open Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Check in at the Plat Room front desk.
If you already know your document number, you can submit a Document Request Form in person or by mail using the form below.
Account Help
The most common problem with both online databases is an unverified email address. Both sites require you to verify your email before your account will work.
For ongoing trouble with an iDocMarket (opens in a new tab) account, call our partner Tyler Technologies at 1-800-247-1161. For ongoing trouble with a County Record Archives (opens in a new tab) account, call our office at (406) 758-5526.
