REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
FOR ARCHITECTECTURAL SERVICES
The Flathead County Board of Commissioners is requesting Statement of Qualifications from firms interested in providing architectural and engineering services to Flathead County pursuant to the requirements of Section 18-8-201 et seq., M.C.A. Services needed include design, engineering, construction plans, bid specifications, and construction management for the Flathead County Fairgrounds Grandstand Replacement Project. The project includes demolition of the existing grandstands and exhibit hall, site prep, construction of a new grandstand seating structure (approximately 3,000 seat capacity) with ADA compliant access and seating, VIP and press box(es), concession stand(s), arena lighting and cameras, and utility connections. The project also includes construction of a new exhibit hall and Fairgrounds office under the seating structure to replace the existing building. The project is located at 265 N Meridian Rd., Kalispell, MT.

All sealed statements, plainly marked as “RFQ-Fairgrounds Grandstands”, must be delivered to the Flathead County Commissioners Office, 800 S. Main, Rm. 302, Kalispell, MT 59901, on or before 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Statements will be opened at 9:00 AM on July 30, 2026, in the Commissioners’ Chambers, Third Floor, County Courthouse.
