Jury Trial Status

Use this page to check whether you need to appear for jury duty, learn what your trial status means, and find out how to request an excuse.

How to Check Your Jury Status

Find the date you were called for jury duty in the trial status list, then check the wording next to it:

  • "Settled — do not appear" means that case was settled and will not go to trial. You do not need to report for jury selection.
  • "Must appear" means the case is going forward and you need to report for jury selection.

Appear only for the specific trial listed on your summons. If that trial has been settled, you do not need to appear for any other trials listed.
