NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ANNEXATION TO OLNEY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT
The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice, pursuant to Section 7-33-2125(1)(b), M.C.A., that it will hold a public hearing to consider a petition to annex territory into the Olney Rural Fire District.
WHEREAS, the property to be annexed is legally described as follows:
S22, T32 N, R24 W, ACRES 40, TR 1A IN NE4SE4
The Board of Commissioners has received a petition in writing by the owner of 100% of the land of the area to be annexed asking that such area be annexed into the Olney Rural Fire District by transferring the property as described above into the Olney Rural Fire District.
The public hearing will be held on April 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers, located on the third floor of the Old County Courthouse at 800 South Main Street in Kalispell, Montana. At the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will give the public an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed annexation and will consider a protest petition, if one is presented at the hearing that is signed by a majority of the landowners of the area proposed for annexation, which would prevent the annexation.
