NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
FY27 PERMISSIVE MEDICAL LEVY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 2-9-212, M.C.A., that the Board of County Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, will hold a public hearing to receive comment from the public on the Board’s intention to levy for the Permissive Medical Levy for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The Permissive Medical Levy is used to pay for premium contributions for the group health insurance program for County employees and is not subject to the statutory limitations on increases in County mill levies.
The public hearing will be held on the 27th day of August, 2026 at 10:00 o’clock a.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers, Third Floor, County Courthouse, 800 South Main, Kalispell, Montana.
Any taxpayer or resident may appear at the hearing and will be heard concerning the Board’s intention to levy for the 2026-2027 fiscal year Permissive Medical Levy.
