NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ABANDONMENT OF PUBLIC ROADWAY NO. 533
PORTION OF HIGH LINE BOULEVARD
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Viewers have reported to the Board of Flathead County Commissioners on the discontinuance of that certain public roadway in Flathead County, Montana, described as follows:
A TRACT OF LAND, SITUATED, LYING AND BEING IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 32 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, P.M.,M., FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS TO WIT:
That portion of High Line Boulevard, a 60 foot county street as shown on the Plat of Belton, Montana (records of Flathead County, Montana), lying along the northerly boundaries of Lot A and Lot B of the Amended Subdivision Plat of Lots 1 & 2 of Block 1 of Belton (records of Flathead County, Montana) and lying along the northerly boundaries of Lots 3 – 8 of Block 1 of the Plat of Belton, Montana (records of Flathead County, Montana).
Also described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 32 North, Range 19 West, P.M.,M., Flathead County, Montana, which is a found brass cap on the easterly R/W of a 60 foot county street known as High Line Boulevard; Thence along said R/W S00°04’20”W 70.06 feet to a found iron pinon the southerly R/W of said High Line Boulevard; Thence along said southerly R/W the following three (3) courses: S59°02’45”W 95.85 feet to a found iron pin; S59°03’29”W 104.08 feet to a found iron pin; S59°01’31”W 600.10 feet to the easterly boundary of that portion of said High Line Boulevard abandoned in the Notice of Discontinuance of Public Roadway No. 477 (records of Flathead County, Montana); Thence along said boundary N30°57’47”W 60.00 feet to the northerly R/W of said High Line Boulevard; Thence along said northerly R/W N59°01’48”E 836.15 feet to the point of beginning.
Notice is hereby given to the petitioners or landowners as disclosed by the last assessment roll of Flathead County, owning land abutting the roadway described above and being considered for abandonment.
The public hearing on this petition for abandonment is scheduled on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 9:15 a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers, Third Floor, County Courthouse, 800 South Main in Kalispell, Montana. For further information, please call (406) 758-5537.
