Public Hearing: Separation of Public Administrator Duties from the Treasurer's Office

NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION

AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

SEPARATION OF OFFICE OF FLATHEAD COUNTY PUBLIC ADMINISTRATOR FROM

OFFICE OF FLATHEAD COUNTY TREASURER

            The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice that it passed a Resolution of Intention (Resolution No. 1308B) on February 17, 2026, to consider the separation of the Office of Flathead County Public Administrator from the Office of Flathead County Treasurer.

            In accordance with that Resolution of Intent, the Board of Commissioners further gives notice that it will hold a public hearing to consider the separation of the Office of Flathead County Public Administrator from the Office of Flathead County Treasurer, on the 3^rd day of March, 2026, at 10:15 a.m., in the Commissioner's Chambers, located on the third floor of the Old County Courthouse at 800 South Main in Kalispell, MT. At that public hearing, the Board of Commissioners will give the public an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed separation.
