Tax Liens
If property taxes remain unpaid, a tax lien may be placed on the property. This lien represents the county’s legal claim for the unpaid taxes, penalties, and interest.
A tax lien does not immediately result in loss of property, but it is part of a legal process that may continue if the delinquency is not resolved.
