Found Animals
Found a Dog
Stray dogs must be held at FCAS for 72 hours. It is not recommended for members of the public to keep stray dogs at home.
If the dog appears sick or injured, contact Animal Control or a veterinary clinic. FCAS does not have a veterinarian on staff for emergency medical cases.
Found a Cat
If the cat appears healthy, it is often best to leave the cat where it was found. Many cats stay near home and may return on their own.
Cats are accepted by appointment only, and there may be a waiting list for cat intakes.

- Overnight fee, unaltered animal: $35 per night
