Family Planning

Flathead Family Planning is a local reproductive and sexual healthcare clinic for the greater Flathead Valley. We provide annual exams, birth control, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, and other primary reproductive healthcare services.

We use a sliding fee scale, which means what you pay is based on your income. Whether you have health insurance, Medicaid, or no insurance, you are welcome at Family Planning.

Book an Appointment Schedule a visit online for any Family Planning service. Refill Birth Control Request a refill of your current birth control prescription. Frequently Asked Questions

I have adequate income and insurance. Can I receive services from Family Planning?

Yes. Family Planning services are available to everyone, and we accept private insurance to help cover the cost of your visit. If you don't have insurance, you can still be seen and will be charged on a sliding fee scale.

Can the clinicians prescribe medication?

Yes. Family Planning clinicians can prescribe medications and treat certain medical conditions. We also stock much of the medication in our clinic, which can save you a trip to the pharmacy.

I'm not sexually active. Do you have services I can access?

Yes. We offer services such as annual exams and testing and treatment for yeast infections and urinary tract infections. Some birth control options, like the pill, can also help regulate periods — you can talk with a clinician about that too.
