Latex Paint Reminder
Latex paint does not need to go to a hazardous waste event if it is fully dried. Add cat litter, sand, or sawdust to liquid latex paint to absorb the moisture, then place the hardened paint in regular trash.
Commercial Hazardous Waste
Commercial hazardous waste is handled separately from household hazardous waste. A Commercial Hazardous Waste Collection Event is held at the landfill each May. Pre-registration is required.
