Meetings
The Local Emergency Planning Committee meets regularly to review emergency plans, coordinate with local partners, and discuss hazardous material preparedness.

Committee Responsibilities
The LEPC has several responsibilities under federal law, including:
- Reviewing emergency response plans at least annually.
- Receiving and maintaining hazardous chemical information submitted by facilities.
- Establishing procedures for public information requests.
- Receiving notifications of certain hazardous material releases.
- Coordinating planning efforts between facilities and emergency responders.
