Early Literacy Classes	Sing, dance, read, and explore in fun and interactive classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers that help prepare them for future learning success. Hands-on activities to follow storytime. Especially for children 0-5 and their grown-ups. Available in Bigfork, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell. Death Certificates	Certified copies of death certificates are available through this office for all Montana Counties from 2003. Genealogy copies are available for Flathead County only. A certified copy is $7.00 each, and may be obtained online or by mail. Anyone requesting an informational or certified copy of a vital record must present a valid ID. COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment	COVID-19 vaccines will be available by appointment on Tuesdays at the Flathead City-County Health Department. Court-Ordered DNA Testing	The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office provides court-ordered DNA testing on FRIDAYS ONLY from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is not for the purpose of determining paternity. Court Advocate for Domestic & Sexual Violence Victims		Sheriff’s Office
CONNECT	CONNECT is a secure, web-based referral system for sending and receiving referrals that is HIPAA, FERPA, 42CFR, and IDEA compliant. The system is available at no cost to approved organizations that make client referrals. The goal of CONNECT is to reduce common barriers for external referrals and increase client uptake in services. The system closes the loop in care coordination. Concealed Weapons Permit	Eligibility Requirements To apply, you must: Have been a Montana resident for at least six (6) months, and Currently reside in Flathead County. Application & Renewal Walk-In Hours Standard applications or renewals: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Enhanced applications or renewals: Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Application Locations & Notes Enhanced permit applications (new or renewal) are accepted in the office only (online option may be added in the future). All applications must be signed in person in front of the Sheriff or a designee. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (406) 758-5585. Complaint or Commendation	Customers, such as you, are valuable eyes and ears for our community and its Sheriff’s Office. We respect your input, both good and bad. Whenever you see Sheriff’s Office employee actions which you believe we should be aware of, please report those to us. The Sheriff’s Office does accept anonymous information, but we would prefer you provide us with your identity. Anonymous reports are investigated only to the extent which the information allows; which may not be satisfactory to you or the Office. We strive to complete complaint investigations promptly. Communicable Disease	Communicable diseases are transmitted from one person to another through a variety of ways including direct contact, contact with a bodily fluid or blood, or indirectly by a vector (i.e. tick or mosquito). Class or Group Library Visit	During your tour or group visit to ImagineIF, we can provide: Stories and book talks for preschoolers through eighth graders. A tour of the building highlighting resources appropriate for preschool through twelfth grade. An overview of resources in a subject area. Library card registration: Please see the section on library cards below. We appreciate at least two weeks notice of groups coming to use the library, even if you don’t need any special services. CISM Team Debriefing Request	Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is the decision and implementation of intervention tactics to best respond to the needs of the emergency situation at hand. This form initiates the request for a meeting that is geared to assist those dealing with the physical or psychological symptoms that are generally associated with trauma exposure. Children's Advocacy Center	The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) allows the capability for centralized services. Children receive forensic interviews and forensic medical exams at the CAC in a child-friendly environment.
